Job Title: Quarry Foreman
Location: Poughkeepsie NY

About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Quarry Foreman to oversee daily operations at our quarry. This is a working leadership role — you’ll lead the small crew, operate heavy equipment, and help ensure that sand and gravel production runs safely and efficiently.

Compensation: $80,000 + health benefits

Responsibilities:

• Supervise quarry crew and coordinate daily work activities
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, crushers, etc.)
• Monitor material processing and stockpile organization
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
• Communicate with dispatch or sales team to coordinate material needs
• Keep accurate records of production, maintenance, and safety activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience operating heavy equipment in a quarry, construction, or aggregate environment
• Proven ability to lead a crew and manage day-to-day operations
• Solid understanding of safety practices and procedures
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and get your hands dirty
• Strong work ethic and team-first attitude

Preferred but Not Required:

• Experience with crushing/screening equipment
• Basic mechanical skills
• CDL a plus

Schedule: Full-time, year-round
