Job Title: QA Tester Location: Austin, TX (4 Days Onsite/Week) Job Description: We are seeking a QA Tester to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through thorough testing, defect identification, and collaboration with development teams. Responsibilities: Review business requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to create effective test plans and test cases. Execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs and ensure product quality. Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing. Report and track defects, working closely with developers for timely resolution. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on time. Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices. Required Skills: 3+ years of experience as a QA Tester (manual and/or automation). Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC. Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, ALM). Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cypress) is a plus. Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in an onsite hybrid model (4 days a week in Austin, TX). Preferred Skills: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
