Job Description

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seeks three clinical psychologists to join the faculty in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. The position focuses on providing compassionate, evidence-based care with an emphasis on empirically supported treatments and approaches. Candidates with expertise in Anxiety Disorders, ADHD assessment and treatment, Health/Geropsychology, Psychosis, Depression Recovery, Women’s Behavioral Health, and Suicide/Trauma are particularly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include clinical evaluation and assessment, individual and/or group psychotherapy, contributing to training, research, and scholarly pursuits, and representing the program or Department in committees, conferences, and community engagements. The psychologist must practice within established Medical Center standards and policies. Requirements include a Doctoral Degree in Psychology, licensure or license eligibility in Ohio, graduation from an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program with an accredited clinical internship, and preferably at least one year of relevant post-doctoral experience. The position offers opportunities to work within interdisciplinary clinics and contribute to patient care, education, and clinical research. Start date is August 1, 2025, but can be adjusted to meet candidate needs.
