Project Manager

Job Location: Culver City

Position Type: Exempt

Position Summary:

As Project Manager, your primary responsibilities are overseeing the successful planning and execution of a multi-phase redevelopment project. Serve as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day project management activities. Oversee multidisciplinary consultant teams including architecture, civil, MEP, structural engineering, environmental, geotechnical, and specialty consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track progress toward the overall project schedule, budget, and scope from early planning through design and preconstruction.
  • Ensure consultants adhere to project milestones, deliverables, and quality standards.
  • Facilitate coordination between design disciplines to ensure fully integrated documents.
  • Lead regular design and coordination meetings with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Manage procurement processes, including issuing RFPs and evaluating consultant proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal, accounting, operations) to support approvals, funding, and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate with permitting agencies and utility providers as needed.
  • Track and report project progress to senior leadership and redevelopment partners.

Required:

  • 4-year degree in business, finance, or related field
  • Proven experience managing complex, high-value capital projects in real estate or public infrastructure.
  • Strong technical understanding of design and construction processes, including environmental remediation and utilities.
  • Exceptional skills in consultant and team coordination, critical thinking, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Working knowledge of local permitting processes and codes (esp. seismic and environmental).

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated; results-oriented; capable of effective independent judgment
  • Strong strategic mindset and the ability to communicate effectively both internally within the company and externally with clients, partners, and tenants.

Salary:

  • Salary ($125,000 to $150,000+) depending on qualifications and experience.
