Now Hiring: Phlebotomist II – Prospect, CT (Full-Time, Onsite)
Location: 166 Waterbury Rd, Prospect, CT 06712
Schedule: Weekdays, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19–$23/hr
Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Prospect Patient Service Center in Prospect, CT.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draw quality blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric collections
• Prepare and process specimens for lab testing following established procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Explain procedures to patients and foster trust and confidence
• Verify patient identification and label specimens accurately in the patient’s presence
• Travel to and cover multiple locations as needed with minimal notice
• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of area supervisor
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors, uphold confidentiality, and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric patients
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Patient Service Center preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)
• Strong data entry and keyboarding skills
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility for weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call availability
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Superior customer service and communication skills
Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
