Responsible for general assembly tasks associated with the packaging of quality cheese products. How You Will Make Contributions That Matter * Manually apply cheese and ingredients to the appropriate production line * Perform manual packaging tasks such as bagging/wrapping/labeling/boxing/palletizing * Restock packaging materials into machines such as boxes/tape/glue/film * Monitor production flow, remove bad product as needed and potentially reapply it to the line * Ensure documentation performed is in accordance with policies and procedures * Ensure product quality through multiple inspections/tests and documentation of those activities * Set up, adjust, monitor and perform general operating maintenance on production equipment * Report noncompliance of production issues to the leadership teams * Validate ingredients and material used in the production process * Ensure paperwork and inventory systems transactions are accurately completed and performed in a timely manner * Handle and use cleaning chemicals and perform sanitation duties * Other duties as assigned You Are Best Suited For The Role If You.... * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Ability to read and understand instructions. * Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping practices. \ Comply with all quality system and regulatory requirements. \ Work in a safe and efficient manner. * Requires regular attendance. * Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment * Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing * Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs We Support and Care For Our Employees By Providing Them With... \ Development opportunities that enhance you career fulfillment \ Meaningful compensation & benefits that help you care for your family * Opportunities to contribute to your community and enhance the lives of others through Saputo products EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY * Saputo Cheese USA Inc. and Saputo Dairy Foods USA, LLC endeavors to make CareersUSA.Saputo.com accessible to any and all users.
