BAE Systems seeks an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to support our government client. The position involves full-time dedication to Operations and Maintenance, Database Administration, and related technical responsibilities. Operations and Maintenance Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Oracle databases. Provide support during normal hours (0700-1700 EST, Monday-Friday), excluding federal holidays. Support activities include installation, configuration, upgrades, backup, disaster recovery, and performance tuning of Oracle databases. Coordinate hardware/software needs with the government representative. Assist in data migrations, modifications, and development of database environments to support applications. Database Administration Manage access control and ensure compliance with FBI Oracle standards. Monitor storage and optimize database performance. Support upgrades, patches, and data migrations using tools like Data Pump. Application Express Administration Experience with Oracle APEX, ORDS, BI Publisher, and related tools. Develop SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, and manage APEX and ORDS upgrades. Experience with AWS cloud services, Tomcat, PKI, SSL, and encryption protocols. Database Security Knowledge of STIGs and support for Certification & Accreditation activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Excellent communication skills. Strong analytical and client interaction skills. Salary Range: $130,355 - $221,603, based on market factors and candidate qualifications.
