Base Salary of $600K - $700K and higher with experience. Medical Group, PLLC is seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join our successful Neurosurgeon as we build an Ortho/Neuro Center of Excellence. A physician-owned and physician-run multi-specialty group established in 1938, we have grown to become one of the largest multi-specialty groups in the Central New York region with 60+ physicians and 25 specialties. Partnering with a dedicated and highly qualified professional staff including mid-level providers, we offer a professional, stimulating practice with a predictable work schedule, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefit package, 4 weeks vacation and CME all leading to full partnership and a production based salary at the end of 2 years.
Our growing group offers a broad array of ancillary and support services under one roof for the convenience of both patients and physicians. In addition to having Electronic Medical Records, we also have been awarded superior performance designation by MGMA for outstanding Practice management for the last 3 years and have achieved the highest accreditation by the AAAHC.
While a generalist is needed, we would prefer a candidate who has completed subspecialty training in a Cranial program. The successful candidate will be joining our Neurosurgeon in creating a strong Neurosurgical Department which could develop into a group of three to make call arrangements easier. The primary care physicians and neurologists within our practice seek an expert to handle the vast number of Neurosurgical patients. Until recently we have had only two Neurosurgeons operating in our community, with the vast majority of cases migrating to tertiary hospitals in distant communities. Inpatient work and surgeries are performed in the three local hospitals which are blocks from our location. To respond to community need, our current Neurosurgeon and recruited candidate will travel to our Satellite offices, though infrequently.

Within easy driving distances are Boston, New York City, Toronto, Montreal, Rochester and Philadelphia. The scenic nearby Adirondack Park is a source of countless recreational activities.
