Job Description

Our client, a leader in the creative technology industry, is seeking a Motion Designer to join their team. As a Motion Designer, you will be part of the design studio supporting the development of innovative video editing tools. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, be a team player, and possess excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Motion Designer

Location: Remote, 3 month contract

Pay Range: 50-65/hr

What's the Job?

• Designing and producing text effects, video transitions, and visual effects under the direction of the Creative Director or Art Director.
• Collaborating with Creative Coders to refine designs in internal prototyping tools and ensuring quality assurance during product integration.
• Preparing documentation and handoff materials for Engineers to facilitate the development process.
• Creating animated graphics and visual effects for real-time products and experiences.
• Working closely with a talented team of motion designers, engineers, and creative coders to bring innovative ideas to life.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience designing and producing animated graphics and visual effects.
• Proficiency in After Effects and Figma is required.
• A portfolio that demonstrates motion graphics and visual effect design.
• Experience working with technical artists or creative coders to translate designs into shaders and post-processing effects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
