An AmLaw 200 law firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys in its Washington, D.C. office. This full-time, onsite position offers one remote day per week after training.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys across multiple practice areas (litigation, commercial real estate, etc.)
Draft, format, proof, and finalize legal documents and correspondence
Manage calendars, coordinate meetings/travel, and handle client communications
Perform billing, time entry, expense reporting, and business intake tasks
Maintain physical and electronic files, including document comparison and redlining
Prepare mailings, DocuSign requests, and other legal support tasks
Qualifications:
5+ years of legal assistant experience in a mid to large-sized law firm
Knowledge of litigation and/or commercial real estate practices ideal
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) and familiarity with legal software (Litera, Nuance, Adobe, etc.)
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree preferred
