Job Title: Assistant Landscaping Manager

Location: Parrish, FL

Pay: $25-$28/hour (based on experience)

SeaState Land Services is a full-service landscaping and construction company serving Southwest Florida. We specialize in landscaping, irrigation, grading, and concrete services for residential and commercial projects. We're seeking a motivated and skilled Assistant Landscaping Manager to join our growing team.

Job Description:

As the Assistant Landscaping Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing landscaping projects, ensuring high-quality results, and managing daily operations. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong landscaping expertise and the ability to manage personnel and materials efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist landscaping crews in planting, maintaining, and managing common areas and residential new construction landscapes.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards.
• Identify and work with common plant types used in new residential construction landscaping (not local species).
• Operate and oversee the use of company trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment as needed.
• Coordinate material deliveries and manage project logistics.
• Train and mentor landscaping team members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of landscaping experience with a strong working knowledge of landscaping practices common in Southwest Florida.
• Ability to visually identify and work with common plants used in new residential construction.
• Clean driving record (required).
• Ability to drive a company truck and/or tow a small landscaping or irrigation trailer.
• Ownership of a pickup truck is a plus; a vehicle stipend can be negotiated if you're willing to use it for work purposes.
