Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Kitchen & Bath Designer/Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This role blends design expertise with relationship-driven sales. You will guide clients from their first showroom visit through project completion—helping them visualize, design, and purchase kitchens and baths that transform their homes.
Responsibilities
Welcome clients in the showroom, build relationships, and qualify needs
Design functional, creative layouts using CAD software
Create 3D designs for clients using Chief Architect
Present cabinetry, finishes, fixtures, and materials tailored to client goals and budgets
Prepare proposals, close sales, and manage projects through the handoff to installation
Collaborate with CAD designers, contractors, and project managers to ensure smooth execution
Stay current on design trends, product lines, and remodeling best practices
Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to overall team success
Qualifications
Proven sales experience in kitchen/bath design, interior design, or related industry (preferred)
Strong eye for design and space planning
Proficiency with CAD/design software (training available if needed)
Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
Motivated self-starter who thrives in a client-facing, consultative sales role
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary plus commission on closed sales
Earning potential $90,000–$150,000+ annually depending on performance
