Journeyman Industrial Electrician

The Journeyman Electrician will install, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical systems, including electrical panels, lighting, motor controls, and conveyor systems in Industrial Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas. In addition, this position will be familiar with installing power supply wiring and troubleshooting types of electrical components in Industrial settings.

What you will be Doing:

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on small oil and gas construction projects such as well pads, compressor stations, and pump jacks
• Bend, thread, and install various types of conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC-coated) in accordance with project specifications and NEC standards
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure safe and timely project execution
• Respond promptly to service calls and execute repairs or adjustments based on field conditions
• Participate in commissioning and startup of systems on smaller oil and gas construction projects
  
• Coordinate with procurement or material handling for field parts and supplies
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure installations are performed to code and client standards
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades in operating facilities
• Support the integration and wiring of PLCs and VFDs
• Install and terminate motor starters, control panels, transformers, lighting systems, and instrumentation devices

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License
• Electrical lineman experience is required
• Valid Drivers license
• 5+ years experience as an electrician; extensive experience in Industrial Settings such as, Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas.
• Hands-on experience with small construction projects, including new well pad builds or facility upgrades
• Experience with leading construction projects
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and follow specifications
• Ability to work independently
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and follow specifications
• Bend and Install Rigid conduit
• Understanding of Instrumentation devices
• Motor terminations
• Ability to work independently
• Customer service skills
