Wonderschool is harnessing the power of technology to support child care providers and public sector partners through scalable, effective solutions. We are seeking a IT State Government Proposal Writer to join our team as a consultant. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our team to identify, respond to, and win state government IT RFPs—both those written for us and those not originally tailored to our solutions. You’ll be a key player in growing our public sector footprint by managing the end-to-end proposal process and crafting competitive, compelling responses. You Will: Identify and respond to state government IT RFPs that align with Wonderschool’s capabilities. Write, tailor, and submit proposals that position our product effectively—especially for opportunities not initially written with us in mind. Manage and own the full proposal process, including timelines, requirements, and stakeholder coordination. Work closely with CEO and others to ensure proposals reflect product functionality, compliance, and strategic positioning. Track, analyze, and continuously improve win rates across submitted proposals. You Have: A proven track record of winning IT RFPs from state governments, especially proposals not written with your organization in mind. Deep familiarity with government procurement processes, ideally having competed with or alongside firms like Deloitte or Accenture. Strong writing skills and an eye for strategy, compliance, and clarity. A competitive edge—you’re relentless in crafting proposals that win, and you hate to lose. Ability to work independently, manage multiple proposals simultaneously, and meet deadlines with high-quality work.
