Job Description

Position Type: 12 - 20 hours per week

Rate: Minimum Wage - $18.00 + Tips

Reports To: Assistant Manager/General Manager

Job Summary:

We’re looking for friendly, energetic, and dependable individuals to join our team. As a Host, your primary role is to own and run parties and events . You are the main point of contact and the driving force behind a successful guest experience. You serve as the advocate for the party , ensuring clear communication and coordination between the Front of House (FOH) team and the event guests. Your job is to make sure everyone—from our team to our guests—feels supported, informed and overall has an enjoyable experience. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with families, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Briefing & Check-In: Welcome guests upon arrival, provide event details, and ensure a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Food & Beverage Service: Deliver beverages and food promptly; monitor and replenish items as needed to maintain a high-quality experience.
  • Event Upkeep & Flow Management: Regularly check on parties, monitor event progress, and uphold quality standards to ensure everything runs seamlessly.
  • Guest Interaction & Support: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and assisting with any needs to create a positive, memorable experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to maintain smooth operations and foster a fun, engaging atmosphere for guests and staff alike.

Secondary Role: The employee is responsible for maintaining a thorough understanding of daily operational activities. This includes knowledge of all procedures related to the preparation and execution of weekend events. The role requires familiarity with established processes, timelines, and workflows to ensure smooth and consistent operations.  

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 17 years old.
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Enjoys working with children and families in a fast-paced, fun environment.
  • Comfortable being on your feet and moving for long periods.
  • Food service or customer service experience is a plus—but not required.
  • Availability on weekends, holidays, and during school breaks is highly preferred.
