Health Information Management Specialist / Medical Records / FT / Days The Health Information Specialist is responsible for prepping, scanning, and indexing patient records, analyzing and reporting record completion, releasing patient health information, and providing department customer service. Qualifications : High School diploma or equivalent required A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Health Information Management department or a comparable customer service-related field is required. Completion of related college coursework may be substituted for work experience. A minimum typing speed of 35 wpm is required. Basic PC Skills and a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite are required.
