Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000 + bonus Key Responsibilities: Assist the Superintendent in maintaining the golf course maintenance budget and capital plans. Supervise and assist maintenance staff in daily duties. Plan, organize, and direct maintenance and construction of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers. Oversee planting and cultural practices for turf grasses, trees, and ornamental plants. Ensure proper maintenance of construction equipment. Procure supplies and materials within budget. Keep records of maintenance activities and costs; assist in report preparation. Follow sound purchasing procedures with preferred vendors. Reconcile and code invoices, payroll, and documents promptly. Coordinate snow removal if applicable. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. Ensure staff obtain necessary licenses and address environmental concerns. Manage department team members, including mechanics, technicians, and greenskeepers. Provide orientation and ongoing training for staff. Monitor business volume and plan staffing, productivity, and expenses accordingly. Incorporate safe work practices in all job activities. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or associate's degree or equivalent; 3-4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in agronomy, horticulture, or soil science. Other Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to obtain Utah pesticide license within 6 months of employment.
