Job Description

Our government client, is seeking a GIS Analyst to join their team. As a GIS Analyst, you will be part of the IT department. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: GIS Analyst

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay Range: $27/hr

Shift: Standard hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with the availability to work earlier, later, and on weekends.

What's the Job?

• Perform analysis of GIS data based on specified criteria and generate reports for projects and decision-making processes.
• Develop macros to generate reports from GIS databases.
• Maintain GIS databases; convert data from various sources for entry into databases and develop user instructions.
• Design project maps and databases; analyze reports and produce final prints using various types of plotters.

What's Needed?

• ArcGIS experience ( 2 years minimum) .
• Knowledge of GIS computer database development and management.
• Familiarity with computerized cartographic/mapping hardware and software.
• Ability to read and interpret aerial photographs, maps, deeds, and legal descriptions.
• Possession of a valid and current FL Driver License
