Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager
Location: College Park, GA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead food safety and quality operations in a USDA and FDA regulated food manufacturing plant
• Manage 2 QA supervisors, and oversee 10+ QA and Sanitation Technicians
• Drive continuous improvement across compliance, documentation, and training
• Monitor and maintain compliance with USDA, FDA, and GFSI standards
• Oversee HACCP, allergen, traceability, pest control, food defense, sanitation, and more
• Lead internal audits and prepare for third-party audits, including CAPA management
• Work cross-functionally with operations, R&D, labeling, and procurement teams
• Support new product onboarding and commercialization
• Act as the Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) and HACCP Team Leader
• Train, coach, and mentor QA staff while setting clear expectations and goals

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree required , OR a minimum of 5+ years of food safety leadership experience
• 3+ years in a QA Manager or higher-level role in food manufacturing
• 7+ years total experience in food quality, regulatory, or sanitation functions
• HACCP and PCQI certifications required
• USDA experience strongly preferred; FDA knowledge required
• Understanding of SQF or other GFSI systems
• Experience with sanitation programs and validation methods
• Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills
• Bi-lingual English / Spanish is preferred
