Job Title: QC Supervisor

Reports To: Quality Control Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Purpose:

The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily quality control activities within the distribution center. This role ensures product quality, regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, and supports the execution of the company’s quality assurance programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily QC operations, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards.
• Monitor dock temperatures and evaluate incoming and outgoing product for quality compliance.
• Support the maintenance of accurate inventory records for finished goods and specialty products.
• Conduct regular reviews of inspection reports and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Assist with posting and tracking third-party vendor audits and regulatory documentation in internal systems.
• Track and document warehouse product rejections, ensuring records are maintained for quality reporting.
• Support the implementation and enforcement of allergen management and product safety programs.
• Help identify non-compliant vendors and escalate issues to QC Manager for resolution.
• Contribute to quality assurance projects and process improvements as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a QC or QA role within a distribution, food, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with data entry and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments and resolve issues in real time.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
• Certification and ability to operate warehouse equipment preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Extended periods of computer use and standing/walking on the warehouse floor.

Work Environment:

• Must be able to work in varying temperature environments within a distribution center.
