Make a difference in your community with the La Crosse Area Family YMCA ! We’re hiring a Food Program Delivery Driver to join our Community Outreach Food Access Team. This part-time role delivers nutritious meals and snacks to 15 local childcare sites, ensuring kids have access to healthy food during afterschool care.
The typical schedule is 7:00 AM –1:00 PM Monday-Friday , with opportunities for additional hours if desired.
We’re looking for a dependable and punctual team player who can work independently and is passionate about making a difference. This is a great opportunity to be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to improving access to nutritious meals for all.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record .
Availability to work 7:00 AM- 1:00 PM , Monday through Friday, during the school year months (current-June) with opportunity to help with deliveries during the summer months.
Ability to safely operate a YMCA-provided vehicle .
Ability to lift, twist, stand, and carry up to 50 pounds with the assistance of rolling carts.
Strong dependability, punctuality , and ability to work independently.
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for community service .
Commitment to supporting community food access initiatives .
