Overview Department: Music Salary: $8.25 per hour (max. 20 hours per week) Schedule: Varies, based on the students’ class schedule Position Summary: The Federal Work Study- Computer/Piano Lab Assistant provides technical and customer service support in the Music Department's computer/piano labs. This role helps maintain a productive, secure, and user-friendly environment for students using computing resources. Must be eligible for Federal Work Study. If uncertain of eligibility, please contact the Office of Financial Aid. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Must be a currently enrolled student at Jax State University and qualify for the Federal Work Study program Punctual, reliable, and responsible Must be able to work between the hours of 5pm-11pm and adhere to a set scheduled weekly lab time Must be able to work some weekend shifts as need for lab access requires Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in customer service or technical support Experience with printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices Basic troubleshooting skill Additional Information Notice Regarding International Students: International students in student visas are not eligible for Federal Work Study positions.
