Based in Oakland, CA, with events throughout the East Bay and San Francisco. Applicants should be willing to travel within these areas as needed.

Position Summary: The Setup Crew is the backbone of our event operations, supporting the physical setup and teardown of events at venues across the Bay Area. Working under the direction of Event Managers and Coordinators, this role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Load/unload equipment and supplies
• Set up tables, chairs, signage, barricades, and furnishings per event layout diagrams
• Install branded and directional signage
• Assist during client and vendor load-in/load-out
• Support traffic and parking flow at event sites
• Reset and clean venue spaces post-event, including gear return and storage
• Follow all safety protocols and site-specific procedures

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of experience in labor, warehouse, or event logistics preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and responsive to instructions
• Works well independently and as part of a team and handles high-pressure situations.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Comfortable working with diverse groups of people.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during long shifts.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs .
