No Offer Description The Department of Psychology, research group on sensorimotor learning, Prof. Dr. Alexander Schütz , is currently accepting applications for a Doctoral Researcher. The position is offered for a period of four years . The starting date is 01.01.2026 . The position is part-time (75 % of regular working hours) with salary and benefits commensurate with a public service position in the state Hesse, Germany (TV-H E 13, 75 %). The position is funded by the Cluster of Excellence The Adaptive Mind . The goal of The Adaptive Mind is to transform the scientific understanding of the adaptability of human behavior. Further information about the Cluster of Excellence can be found here: . The planned subproject involves conducting perception and eye movement experiments on adults and children. The aim is to investigate how eye movements are adapted over the course of a lifetime, and how errors are predicted and corrected. In addition, the project will examine how different sensory and motor information is used to determine the consequences of one's own movements.
