Overview

A Deepwater Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining cranes on an offshore procurement platform in the Gulf of Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Operate levers and pedals to control the crane.
• Follow hand signals to raise, lower, and rotate the boom or load.
• Lift and move equipment or material on the platform and between boats in various sea conditions.
• Maintain and clean crane equipment.
• Provide leadership to construction riggers.
• Conduct safety and operation inspections of the crane.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Real ID driver's license or current U.S. passport.
• 5+ years of prior offshore crane operating experience.
• Decommissioning experience a plus.
• Crane Operator Certification.
• Previous experience operating Seatrax cranes preferred.
• Deepwater crane operating experience on a floating facility preferred.
• Mechanical experience or aptitude.
• Deepwater / Floater Experience
• Seatrax Hydraulic Cranes
• Current C/O Physical
• Willing to assist with other activities when not operating the crane
