  • Provide clear direction, set measurable goals, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Identify training needs and implement development programs to strengthen team skills.
  • Manage attendance, scheduling, and time-off requests.

Asset Protection

  • Develop and enforce initiatives to protect company assets, including people, property, and inventory.
  • Investigate theft, fraud, and security breaches; implement corrective measures to reduce future risks.
  • Oversee documentation, verification, and reporting of inbound/outbound shipments and yard audits, including end-of-month reporting.
  • Ensure security systems, technology, and equipment are functional and compliant with company standards.

Safe & Secure Operations

  • Support DC safety teams in maintaining compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Identify potential risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.

Partnership Building

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, including Operations, Safety, HR, Facilities, and Logistics.
  • Collaborate with external partners (e.g., law enforcement) when needed.
  • Serve as a liaison to promote cross-departmental collaboration and alignment with company goals.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Use data to identify risk trends and measure the effectiveness of security initiatives.
  • Generate and present reports on incidents, losses, and operational improvements to leadership.
  • Review WMS, YMS, and other reporting tools to monitor exceptions and implement corrective actions.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage DC Lost & Found, security supply inventory, and security vehicle maintenance.
  • Support peer sites and third-party facilities as business needs require.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate’s degree preferred (Criminal Justice, Business, or related field).

  • Strong critical-thinking, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • 3+ years of asset protection or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in incident investigation and crisis management.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in support of 24/7 operations.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment requiring both office and on-the-floor presence.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
