Role OverviewWe are seeking a Creative Director – Business Development with a focus on Motion Graphic Design contracts . This role bridges strategic growth with creative execution , leading Ironclad’s efforts to both win and deliver on motion graphics–related projects for defense, NATO, and government clients.
The ideal candidate combines business development acumen with a creative director’s eye —able to design compelling visual proposals, shape winning strategies, and oversee delivery of high-quality motion graphics content. You’ll help position IDW at the forefront of defense-focused digital storytelling, training solutions, and visual communication.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development Leadership
Identify, pursue, and capture new opportunities in motion graphics and multimedia design within defense and NATO markets.
Shape proposal strategies, win themes, and visual concepts that resonate with government evaluators.
Represent IDW’s creative capabilities in client and partner engagements.
Creative Direction
Lead concept development and oversee the production of motion graphics content for proposals and active contracts.
Guide internal and partner teams in delivering visually compelling, technically accurate, and mission-aligned multimedia assets.
Ensure brand and message consistency across deliverables.
Contract Performance
Manage awarded motion graphics projects, ensuring on-time, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery.
Serve as the creative and client-facing lead on projects, maintaining alignment with client requirements and expectations.
Provide hands-on creative input while managing production schedules and resources.
Proven experience in motion graphics design and creative leadership.
Track record of winning contracts or proposals involving creative/multimedia work.
Familiarity with NATO, DoD, or federal contracting environments.
Strong portfolio showcasing design excellence and ability to tailor visuals for strategic communication.
Excellent communication and business development skills.
Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on creative direction .
