We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Pensacola, Florida. This role is essential for managing the financial operations of the organization, including overseeing month-end processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate reporting. Responsibilities:
• Lead month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Develop and manage financial reporting processes to support organizational goals.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting to align with strategic objectives.
• Allocate expenses across departments to maintain balanced financial records.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
• Support audits and provide documentation as required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Proven experience with financial reporting and internal controls.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
