Position: Commercial Roofing Estimator San Leandro, CA | Full-Time | $80,000–$125,000 + Bonuses RK Roofing & Construction Inc. is expanding — and we’re looking for a skilled Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our growing team. If you’re ready to have a voice in company growth and want to balance office and field work, this is a great opportunity to step into a key role with long-term potential. What You’ll Do: • Estimate and bid commercial roofing projects (new construction and re-roofs) across the Bay Area • Review plans and perform detailed takeoffs for roofing scopes • Attend job walks to understand project conditions firsthand • Prepare RFIs, submittals, and maintain organized project documentation • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for pricing, materials, and certifications • Support field teams with scope details and consult onsite as needed • Manage change orders and pricing updates • Expect to spend roughly 70% in-office and 30% in the field What We’re Looking For: • Proven experience estimating low-slope and pitched roofing systems (TPO, PVC, shingles, modified bitumen, silicone, etc.) • Proficiency with MS Excel and take-off software (e.g. On Center) • Ability to read and interpret plans and construction specifications • Strong communication and documentation skills • Valid CA driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S. • Bonus: Experience in waterproofing or related scopes.
