About the Role
A modern and innovative culinary company on Long Island is seeking an Executive Chef / Culinary Instructor to join their growing team. This is an electrifying opportunity for a chef who wants to be hands-on, lead spectacular private events, host engaging cooking classes, and create unforgettable chef’s tasting dinners.
As the Executive Chef, you’ll be the face and personality of the company’s culinary experiences, bringing incredible energy, charisma, and hospitality to every event. You’ll craft exquisite dishes (a true pasta pro is a big plus!), inspire guests with your knowledge and creativity, and ensure every class and dinner feels personal, exciting, and delicious.
What You’ll Do:
✨ Design and execute private chef dinners, culinary events, and vibrant cooking classes
✨ Develop seasonal, ingredient-driven menus that wow clients and guests
✨ Engage with guests in an approachable, friendly, and patient manner during classes and events
✨ Act as the company’s culinary ambassador — a true “chef persona” guests adore
✨ Collaborate on social media content, food photography, and marketing initiatives
✨ Maintain the highest standards of kitchen operations and guest experiences
✨ Work closely with ownership with the possibility of operational partnership and equity down the line
Who You Are:
✅ A dynamic, hands-on chef with strong experience in both restaurants and private events
✅ Passionate about high-quality ingredients, creative menu development, and exceptional food (making fantastic pasta is a must!)
✅ Super friendly, patient, and engaging — you love teaching and interacting with people
