Cashier and Deli Associate

Spearfish, SD

Position Description:

CBH CO-OP currently has two positions open for you to choose from, Deli Associate and Sales Associate. We offer Health insurance, Dental and Vision, 401K, PTO.

Ability to develop and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of customer service.
Cash register operations (POS), Food preparation and assembly.
Stock, dust, and front shelves.
Store housekeeping and groundskeeping in adherence to store standards.
Ability to operate in a kitchen environment, housed with equipment such as an oven, fryer, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer and chef’s knives.

· Promote a safe and productive work environment for other employees and guests, as well as adhering to company safety training and guidelines.

· Must be deft in moving around the kitchen and food service areas and apt in multi-tasking.

· Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen and always serving areas.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Salary Description:

Salary depends on experience

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED.
All positions are safety sensitive and will require a pre-hire background check and a negative pre-hire drug test, including marijuana. Responsible for any or all the following: operation of oven, fryer, and meat or vegetable slicer; handling emergency equipment with Fuel/LP tanks, hazardous materials, and operating machinery or vehicles.
