Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As the Advanced Systems Integration and Test Engineer, youll participate in the planning of technical approaches, resources, schedules, budgets and equipment required for the testing and evaluating of new systems, products and special devices. Utilizing your expert knowledge and understanding of test engineering concepts and principles, youll prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development lifecycle. You will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of cost-effective methods for testing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and systems throughout all phases of product development and manufacturing. This role supports the generation of technical engineering products by using appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle.

Some of the key tasks for this position include:

  • Design, development, and implement cost-effective testing methods.
  • Generate technical engineering products using appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Execute test approaches and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle.
  • Isolate and document issues and defects.
  • Generate system test work products by applying appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Design test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures for new products.
  • Develop and conduct functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems.
  • Frequent contact with managers within and outside of Engineering.
  • Recognized internally and/or externally as a subject matter expert (SME) in a particular technical area
  • Establish benchmarks for repeated operations and track performance improvements driving down cost of test.
  • Proactively assess maintenance needs for Special Test Equipment and other customer owned test assets to ensure continuous flow of hardware.

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $102,954.00 - USD $108,000.00 /Yr.
