Role Overview:

As a A&P Helicopter Mechanic in Greencastle, Indiana, you'll play a key role in ensuring the airworthiness and reliability of our fleet, ready for critical emergency responses. This position is perfect for mechanics looking to sharpen their skills and make a real impact on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance and inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
• Communicate with the Lead Mechanic about any issues requiring schedule or resource adjustments.
• Manage aircraft maintenance at field bases and ensure company asset safety.
• Prepare reports and ensure maintenance meets FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
• Maintain thorough documentation in RAMCO.
• Collaborate with the team to complete tasks efficiently.
• Oversee parts inventory and maintain special tools with proper calibration.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High School diploma.
• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Certified Mechanic.
• Basic communication skills and computer literacy.
• Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including drug screening.
• Sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work night shifts.
